And the first live gig was....

AMAZING!! Monsters of Pop headlined the second 'Triple Rock Fest' in Estrado, Harderwijk (NL) and they ROCKED the house! Everyone was completely surprised with the choices of songs the band played and from the first notes of the Muppets theme until the final chords of Lionel Ritchie's 'Hello', everyone had a ball and sang along with all of the songs. Exactly that happened that we had hoped for: a PARTYYYYYYY for all to enjoy.
Also, our bass player Luuk celebrated his firstborn son a week and a half before the gig. The rest of the band made sure to have a little present for him, so halfway through the set Rodney presented our two little baby shirts. One had the Monsters of Pop logo on it, the other one just said: I love MILF. Gotta teach them young, right?
All in all it was a ball, as much for the band as it was for the audience. Check the pictures that we just posted online!
